Our Story

Nasi Lemak Bamboo is established in the year 2019 with the aim to provide delicious Malaysian food to customers. An entrepreneur named Sunny Yeoh opened Nasi Lemak Bamboo with the food recipes of his wife, Samantha. The couple wanted to introduce an unconventional and modern yet authentic way of enjoying nasi lemak with a flair of their own.

All the dishes at this restaurant were homemade recipes by Samantha – her love and passion for cooking was also one of the reasons why Nasi Lemak Bamboo was born. Now, they have opened new franchises in Sabah and also in Kuala Lumpur so that delicious Malaysian food can be made accessible to many people.

The food and drinks are freshly prepared in the kitchen of each outlet. It caters to customers from young to old, its delicious taste of food and drinks, dessert too make an unforgettable delicious memory for some people. It serves food such as nasi lemak, mee siam, with the choice of chicken either rendang, curry or deep-fried. Also, it serves snacks such as banana fritter, cucur udang, otak-otak too. There’s desserts too, like cendol. You can have breakfast with toast, half-boiled eggs, and coffee too.

You will not be disappointed with the choices of food and drinks in their menu. And they constantly improvise and experiment and come up with new delicious food to add to their menu. It is easily spotted while driving by – the striking vibrant green and white hue and its kampung-styled bamboo walls are hard to miss.
